I LOVE unique weddings, they are my absolute favourite thing to photograph, so when I was asked to photograph a cinema wedding I was over the moon. The venue Jess and Harvey chose was the Savoy cinema in Nottingham. This is the most amazing classic style single-screen cinema.

The venue choice was perfect for jess and Harvey’s special day and just as unique as them. With a little boy too they wanted to make sure he was included and having the best time. A movie screening complete with popcorn just did the trick.

The wedding invitations were a vintage ticket design which included a tear-off ticket stub with space to add the guest’s kind messages on as a keepsake.

Prep started early closer to home at The Hair Room in Langley Mill. Jess was prepped for a long and potentially cold day in February (and the possibilty of chasing after toddlers!) with her bridal Doc Martins to match her alternative wedding dress.

And what cinema wedding wouldn’t be complete without popcorn?

Hello Sweet Cheeks – any guess on the movie they chose for the screening?

After the movie, the wedding party headed over to The Castle pub, Lace Market Nottingham for drinks and retro games.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Greer and thank you for having me as part of your day 🙂
